Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is located in Mason, which is south of Lansing. Funded by the Ingham County government, it serves the greater Lansing area.

This shelter cares for more than 5000 pets per year, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, snakes, and turtles. To boost adoption efforts, many special adoption events and programs are available.

Currently, this shelter has 23 dogs and 62 cats in its care. That adds up to 85 pets in addition to the strays that are not yet available.

If you have any used printer cartridges, consider donating them to Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter, which uses the cartridges to purchase office supplies. You can also donate office supplies directly to the shelter. In addition, Kongs, Cheez Whiz, pet toys, and many other items are gratefully accepted. Check this list for more information.

If you're looking for a cat or dog, be sure to check out their listings!

About Me

My photo
My earliest memory of a career aspiration was to be a writer. My hobbies and interests include dogs, music, and spending time with my husband. I watch far too much television and seem to specialize in shows that don't get the ratings needed to stay on the air. An avid reader, I've been known to read several books a week.
